When I said we’d stay downtown and walk to all the Asheville breweries we could – I meant it. Wedge Brewing is on the outskirts of downtown in what locals call the River Arts District which has a few dozen shops set up with all kinds of artists selling their wares. Unfortunately, this was the longest walk of the trip. Not bad, but it was a bit colder this morning and the 20 minute walk was a bit brisk. Wedge has a very small bar, but an enclosed patio which they can open when its warm out. The beer was good, and refreshing after our little walk. While in the area we checked out some of the artists shops.
