We’ve already sampled a few beers from Ten Ninety before visiting. Now that they had this new space in Glenview, we decided we had to check it out. The tap room is spacious and overlooks the brewery. Parking could be a bit tight if they’re crowded, but they’re right in the middle of downtown Glenview. The beer was great, I was especially surprised at how much I liked their sour. I’m not into sour beer very much, but the acidity on these were low enough that I didn’t mind. I think it had to do with the fact the “Rancorous” sour beers were barrel aged and mellowed some of the tart flavors. My favorite Ten Ninety beer though is Zen, which is an ale brewed with green tea and lemongrass.
