Our second stop in the middle of the “Rebel Ride” motorcycle gathering was Unruly Brewing. Unfortunately, during the festival, they were not offering flights of their beer. I asked the server what was the most unique and/or popular beer that they had on tap. She suggested the California Common, mentioning they were the first brewery in Michigan to brew the style. It was light and refreshing, as it was a fairly hot July afternoon. I was surprised that with all the people outside at the festival that they weren’t busier inside as we managed to pull up a couple stools right at the bar, no problem.
They have a very large tap room and I’d be interested in sampling more beer sometime when there isn’t a festival going on outside their door.
