It just so happened, Metal Monkey was getting a visit from their mascot on the day we visited. He’s an actual monkey that they’ve sponsored through a nearby animal rescue/preserve. He was a bit delayed though and we ended up leaving before he arrived for their special event/fundraiser. The location is tucked away in an industrial park as many breweries are and the tap room is small/medium sized. The brewery has a randall, and offer rotating infusions and I found the beer very enjoyable. The location is a bit far for us but if we’re in the area we’ll stop in again if we can.
