Green Man was also a brief stop for us. We peeked inside the newer taproom which is modern looking and has more space. But we opted for the original tap room to enjoy a couple pints outside in their beer garden – we wanted to enjoy every bit of the warm and sun. Angie enjoyed her Ginger Cayenne Berliner Weisse, the ginger and cayenne really broke up the sour which made it more palatable than I find most sour beer. I opted for a session ale, the Buxton Hill Bitter, a traditional British ale which was rather refreshing and knew wouldn’t knock me out.
I really appreciate session ales on days when we’re visiting more than 2-3 breweries.
